Do you need a Power of Attorney?
A Lasting Power of Attorney “LPA” is a legal document used for forward planning. It allows you to choose someone you trust “Attorney” to make decisions for you, as it may concern your property and financial affairs, or a Health and Welfare “LPA” enables you to choose the person or persons, you would wish to make personal decisions on your behalf, in such circumstances, this would include decisions about medical treatment or care, or where you should live.
There is a misconception that an “LPA” only applies to the elderly, or terminally ill; this is incorrect. It is wise for everyone, of any age and capacity to have one in place to cover any possible eventuality.
If you no longer have the mental capacity to look after your own affairs, and you do not have an “LPA” in place, the Court of Protection will appoint a Deputy to manage your affairs for you. This may not necessarily be a person who you chose, and can be costly, lengthy and sometimes cumbersome.

Expert Power of Attorney Specialists
All our specialists work to the highest sector standards, closely monitored by solicitors who are independently regulated by the Solicitors Regulatory Authority (SRA).
How do we compare to solicitor fees on the high street?
On average, it costs about £1,400 to obtain both lasting powers of attorney in the UK for one person. But by using our service you can save as much as 60% in unnecessary solicitor fees.
Here are the top three ways we help you save money:
Fixed Fee Quote
We don’t believe in charging on an hourly basis, so we always offer a fixed-fee quote upfront. This helps make sure there are no hidden costs or surprises to our clients during your power of attorney application.
Transparent Service
Power of attorney fees are often higher on the high street because people end up being sold that only solicitors can do all the work. We can offer this also but the price increases per case.
Case Management
Our power of attorney specialists handle everything over the phone for you and deal with all the paperwork on your behalf. This means there’s no need to travel to solicitors' offices, all meetings are completed on video.
